Embracing the Nameless
Hello, how are you?
I am here to listen and care
People fascinate me - the more offbeat, the better. Peculiar quirks captivate and ignite my imagination. Not familiar with their backstory provides the freedom to invent one. I am a collector of idiosyncrasies. At some point, I will select from a menagerie of oddities stored in the appropriate inspiration tank and develop a fictitious character for a future dance, monologue, art installation, or a combination of diverse artistic expressions. Unveiling the extraordinary in the ordinary is a primary motivation.
I regularly embark on perilous journeys involving numerous detours. I gravitate to locations the eccentric congregate and know from previous warnings to avoid. Kooky? Perhaps. This defiance of apparent danger must be an adrenaline rush I crave.
Since I am generally in places I cannot speak the language, we rely on broken English, awkward gestures, and simplistic drawings. The inability to communicate fluently is a significant barrier to engaging with ease. Still, we usually battle through and overcome the obstacles.
No matter where I travel, I locate the most run-down neighborhoods and stroll the streets. Sipping a drink while resting on a bench is an invitation for a stranger to join me. Our interaction begins in silence and often drifts toward a meaningful visit. Frequently we attempt a conversation. If too complicated, the encounter is brief. In any case, I always find a few priceless, incredibly unusual treasures to hoard away. How I eventually use the gathered material is undefined - but I will incorporate them into potential works of art in some form or another.
Person by person, I collect stories, mannerisms, and overall visual appearances - preferring to zoom in on the unconventional details. Each individual plays a mysterious and valuable role in my studies.
The next destination? Unknown. Researching.

Another insightful narrative. Offbeat and quirky are always good for stories and photos.
